There was the usual build up for Christmas. Travelled back east to visit with family and friends, and have been going from event to event for more than a week straight. Even for this avowed extrovert, that can be draining. Even so, the day after Christmas has a way of feeling like a let down, so I'm extra-sure to get out and run. Still in Western New York visiting family, so I took the dog out for a four mile trot in East Aurora's Knox Farm park. Temp was no higher than 12 F, and the wind... Oh, it doesn't matter, anything less than 20 is just nit picking.
Starting to put plans into gear for the new year on these runs. Both professionally and for the race calendar.
